Duarte involves himself in a very intense way in the day-to-day multi-tasking, building on a very own sort of energy that boosts the teams he works with. He is a deep people person.
Duarte oversees the HealthTech space within Armilar. You may find him playing hands-on roles in some of our early-stage investments, actively collaborating within the ecosystem or traveling around the country looking for new opportunities.
Duarte has a BSc in Industrial Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico, and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth (USA). He has over 10-year experience in Strategic and Management Consulting in The Boston Consulting Group, working extensively in Spain, France and the UK.
He is a Board member/observer of several Armilar portfolio companies, and fluently speaks English, French, Spanish and Italian.
Duarte joined Armilar in 2010.
