Bernardo has over 25 years’ experience in retail, omnichannel, merchandise, commercial, marketing, telecommunication and logistics operations across multiple countries in Europe, South America, Asia and Middle East. He held various senior roles with Jeronimo Martins Group, La Poste - Chronopost, CTT Correios de Portugal, Cogeco and since 2013 with Walmart - Brazil and China. From 2018 to 2021, Bernardo was Senior Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Walmart China, based in Shenzhen. His expertise in integrating online and offline retail to offer exceptional omnichannel customer experience for one of the world’s largest retailers provide him tremendous knowledge and insights to his current role at Majid Al Futtaim Group as Chief Operating Officer (COO), based in Dubai.
